ABOUT
It was 1997. Preston was 8 years old. His mom was out of town which meant one thing: Boys night. His father popped in a VHS tape, saying it was a "movie about a shark". Preston then spent the next two hours hiding under the couch cushions, scared to his bones and loving every minute of it. Experiencing Jaws for the first time, Preston knew what he wanted to do with his life: Tell stories and make people feel something powerful.
Now, nearly 20 years later, Preston has already directed 15 different projects, including independent short films, commercials, and television pilots. A graduate of the University Of North Carolina School Of The Arts and the Second CIty's Harold Ramis Film School, he has a classic filmmaking education. Though he spent the majority of his life living in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina, he now resides in Los Angeles, California where he continues to pursue those dreams that started with an old VHS tape and a pile of couch cushions.
